Up for grabs is a great pair of the rare Mullard EL84/6BQ5 tubes. rX1 series tubes with grey plates and O-getters. MATCHED and super strong tubes with tons of life remaining. Highly desirable early production tubes with the wavy/mottled glass. Made in the famous Mullard Blackburn factory with close matching date codes of rx1/B9E and rx1/B9D and shown in photos. The secret to the famous VOX chime in their amps. These tubes will wake up the tone of any vintage or newer production tube amps using the EL84/6BQ5 tubes that typically come with low quality JJ, Russian or Chinese tubes stock.
