This listing is for An Exquisite Antique Finer Than Berlin-Point Embroidery Pictorial Purse , with about 2600+ Kpsi ( knots per square inch ) ,measuring about 5 1/2 inches wide at base and 5 1/2 inches overall height not including the chain ( 10 inches in length ) , with a gilt frame with minimal wear , done in silk floss over possibly linen ( or cotton foundation grid ), with both scenes basically the same with two sides connected together with a floral ribbon about 1 inches wide. Estimate of about 196,300 knots sets the fineness and amount of work to an exceptional level. In excellent antique as shown condition with wear to almost all corners as shown, part of what I figure is salvage and spots of the brown ground as shown, which someone with fine needlework expertise and brown silk floss, should be able to restore to perfection. It is usable as is also and or could be framed as is . Peachy silk lining with two pockets with all interior in excellent condition 103 grams net weight with a plastic ziplock bag. Very very fine weave , see images with inch stick . An exceptional piece worthy of a queen.
