Listing is for Vintage 2003 Corgi #CC60002 WW II Collection, German Camouflage Krauss-Maffei Sd. Kfz. 7 Semi-Track, Die-cast Metal, 1:50, Limited Edition, Mint Condition, New in Box («NIB»). Corgi German Krauss-Maffei Sd. Kfz. 7 Semi-Track is a Limited Edition of 4,100 from its WW II Collection and a limited-edition numbered certificate is included. It was assigned to German 12th Army, France, June 1940. Corgi German Krauss-Maffei Sd. Kfz. 7 Semi-Track is made of die-cast metal, and comes with two accessories, namely, a plastic detachable canvas roof and support roof bracket, which are attached to tractor. Krauss-Maffei Sd. Kfz. 7 Semi-Track is made of die-cast metal with some plastic part such as canvas roof, plastic wheels, and plastic trends. German Krauss-Maffei Sd. Kfz. 7 Semi-Track dimensions are 5 1/4″ Long x 1 7/8″ Wide x 2 1/8″ High. Krauss-Maffei Sd. Kfz. 7 Semi-Track is colored green/gray camouflage that complements its vintage design. Like other Corgi WWII military vehicle series, German Krauss-Maffei Sd. Kfz. 7 Semi-Track has been “muddied” to give it a more weathered appearance. I sold 2 other Corgi German Camo Krauss-Maffei Sd. Kfz. 7 was a half-track military vehicle used by German Wehrmacht Heer, Luftwaffe and Waffen-SS during World War II. Sd. Kfz. is a German medium towing motor vehicle. Production started in 1938 and was intended to be used mainly as a tractor for 88 mm Flak gun and 150 mm howitzer. Because of its heavy towing power, it often was used as a recovery vehicle. Sd. Kfz. tractor vehicle could carry gun crews of up to 12 men in theatre-type seats. Under seats was storage room for various tools, and whole vehicle was spacious enough to carry their kit. Rear of vehicle housed an enclosed compartment for storage of ammunition, though a second ammunition carrier was desirable. Sd. Kfz. tractor could tow loads up to 17,600 lbs. and most were fitted with a winch that could pull up to 7,590 lbs. Windscreen could fold down, and a canvas roof could be erected. Half-track running gear consisted of two front wheels with hydro-pneumatic tires for steering and a track each side with 14 road wheels, 7 per side in an overlapping and interleaved design. 12,187 Sd.
